Rafflesia pricei. Mount Kinabalu. A parasitic plant that takes resources from its host the Tetrastigma vine to produce one of the worlds largest flowers. It resembles, and smells of rotting flesh to attract carrion flies that pollinate it. Sabah, Borneo. Images taken during filming for the BBC series Wonders of The Monsoon.
